Broome Barrells Surf Co was established in September 1999 by Jodie Edwards and Kenneth Rockley. They saw an opening in Broome for another surf shop and took the plunge. With $30K they had opened a 57 square meter shop. By May 2000 they moved to a bigger store that was much needed. With sales continuing to grow it was time to make further decisions to sell or expand once more. So in June 2006 Jodie and Ken took over the vacant shop next door growing the store to 177 metres square which has proven to be great decision as sales have doubled in that year.

We pride ourselves in great customer service, product knowledge and both are keen surfers so we know our local breaks are freely give out tips for those new people coming into town.

 With further plans of expansion we wish to have our store known as the place to come to if you are planning a break in Broome.

 We also have a line of Broome Barrells T-shirts on the production line that is in conjunction with Rip Curl Australia the first surf shop in Australia to do so.

 Our plan is to get Broome Barrells known in any place you visit as the best surf shop in country W.A.

 We are locally owned and operated and very proud of that fact.
